Product Security

A key aspect of Brightly data security are Client focused product features such as fine-grained Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) and options for Single Sign-On (SSO). These controls allow Client Administrators to provide appropriate access to data within their organization, to partners and contractors.

Data Encryption

All Client data hosted by Brightly is encrypted. Brightly uses best in class encryption products to protect data at rest, with industry-standard 256-bit AES encryption. All Client data collected by our applications is transmitted over SSL using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2+.

Data Platform Security

Brightly uses a combination of AWS and other third-party security services in concert with our security program to protect Client data against external threats. Security services include Web Application Firewalls, DDoS protection, secrets management, and strict identity and access management controls. A 24x7 Security Operations Center monitors our Intrusion Detection System and alerts on suspicious activity. Anti-virus and vulnerability management are deployed across the infrastructure.
