Chatty Café Wrap Up – A year to remember
What a fantastic growth year we have had in 2022 as Covid has begun to take a "back seat" and allowed us all to get out and about connecting in our communities again and "Having a Chat!" Everyone is Welcome at a Chatty Table - preventing Loneliness and Social Isolation "one chat at a time".
We now have 160 venues across Australia, reaching East as far as Paynesville in East Gippsland, Victoria and Varsity Lakes, in Queensland; West to Cloverdale in Perth, Western Australia; North to Port Douglas in Far Northern Queensland and South to Port Fairy in Victoria! Venues include cafes, restaurants, neighbourhood houses, community and learning centres, libraries, churches, op shops, wine bars, retirement villages and aged care residences servicing Chatty customers and an art gallery!
We are very grateful to the Brightly staff, for their continued support of the Chatty Café. THANK YOU from the Board of Directors and our "all volunteer" Head Office Operational Committee, Regional Chatty Managers and Volunteer Coordinators!! Also, a special thanks must go to all our Chatty Cafe supporters Australia-wide including Chatty venue Owners and Managers, Chatty Volunteers, our very welcome Chatty Customers, as well as local Councils and State Government funding support in Victoria.
In 2023, please help us continue to spread the Chatty Cafe message and connect with more communities! Wishing you all the best for the Festive Season and into 2023.
