Challenges

Asset Essentials was being used by Cirrus Aircraft for a while, but leaders “wanted to take it to the next level of execution,” says Brian Miller, lead facilities analyst, who was hired in early 2023 to spearhead that effort.

The company primarily uses Asset Essentials as a work order management system and has recently worked to ramp up its usage and encourage adoption throughout the company. By attending Brightly’s Illuminate conference, Miller was exposed to additional options for using Asset Essentials, learning “how much further we can go,” he says.

In his first 18 months with Cirrus, Miller has seen the company’s use of Asset Essentials increase efficiency among maintenance technicians and engagement throughout the workforce.
